BAND BIO

We are a contemporary, Southern Christian rock  band who serves God by proclaiming His Gospel through songs of praise and worship.

Originating in Canton, North Carolina, we have opened for famous artists such as 7th Time Down and, Grammy nominated, Rhett Walker. We have lead many worship services at churches, as well as other venues, and youth rallies across western NC, as well as, provided entertainment for local events like Relay for Life and other fund-raising events for charities, youth groups, and public schools. One of our biggest blessings is the opportunity to play at a local, medium security prison. This is a venue we have visited several times and the movement of the Holy Spirit can be felt by all. We joyfully lead fellow believers in worship and, more importantly, minister to the lost and show them the way to our Lord and King.

In every event, big or small, we include a basic and direct message straight from God's Word. Our mission, through all acts, is to reach the lost for Christ and bring forth a state of worship. Mark 16:15 tells us “Go ye unto all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature”. This is what our band and brotherhood is called to do. Show after show, event after event, the presence of God is felt. We are honored to be called as vessels for Christ, not only to spread His grace, but also to witness His mighty power.

TOMMY's BIO

In early 2012, Tommy began serving on the praise band at his local church.  The youth pastor, as well as a few others, requested that Tommy enter a local talent search and even offered to pay his entry fee if he would enter.  Tommy went on to win the talent search, by the grace of God, which won him a small amount of studio time.  Tommy, and a friend/mentor by the name of David Mills began writing Spirit lead worship songs, some of which are featured on his debut album "Light up the Dark", and the Tommy Payne Band was formed.  The band grew in local popularity as God began to open doors for His new style of music to be heard, and has continued to spread as more and more people fall in love with it.
